The handle of this wooden cane is crafted using the "Kumiki Temoto" technique, combining two distinct types of natural wood, Zelkova and Oak, through a unique joinery method.
Each piece is meticulously finished by artisans over approximately 40 days.
The seamless joinery and lustrous, beautiful finish give it the appearance of a high-quality work of art.
To accentuate the wood grain, we employ a "5-Layer Mirror Finish," which integrates traditional Japanese dyeing techniques with a proprietary coating. This multi-layered finish not only enhances the three-dimensional appearance of the wood grain but also provides exceptional durability, resisting chips and color loss even from impacts.
The careful and repeated application of this detailed coating process is essential due to the use of different colors and wood types.
