Vintage kideko Otomo dolls Oita Japanese Amulets

A local toy from Beppu City, Oita Prefecture (now obsolete).


It is popular as a god of protection from evil and evil spirits, and there is a theory that it is based on the Korean guardian deity, Tenka Daishogun. It is inscribed with


the god of protection from evil, Otomo no Kata wooden toy, the mark of Moksen.
