Petrodvorets Watch Factory (RAKETA) is one of the oldest factories in Russia. It was founded by Peter I in 1721 as the Peterhof lapidary factory and produced jewelry made of precious stones for the royal family.


Since 1961, the factory has been producing its own original watches under the trademark "Raketa" – the brand was named after Yuri Gagarin's space flight.
