Hanji leather is an environmentally friendly vegetable-based leather made from Hanji, a traditional Korean paper made from the bark of the paper mulberry tree, coated with a water-based resin and combined with natural fibers.
The surface of Hanji leather is coated with water-based resin, an environmentally friendly material (non-toxic KC Mark, KOTITI component analysis) with no arylamine, lead, mercury, organic tin compounds, or formaldehyde detected, and it retains 99.9% of the natural antibacterial and deodorizing properties generated by the Kozo tree, This material can be used even by infants and children with weak immune systems.
