Ontheblue Signature 'Button Case'


A unique point item from Ontheblue, featuring a button that resembles a moon-like shell.

From the very beginning of creating the button case, I hoped it would look cute while fidgeting alongside a wallet.


Whether at the supermarket, on the street, or when taking out small belongings, I wanted the act of rummaging through a tiny wallet to appear endearing.


That’s why, first, I added a button.


I tried snaps and magnets, but the motion of opening a button to take out money most closely resembled the image I had in mind.


Later, when I found and added a button that resembled the moon, I was truly satisfied.


Second, I envisioned the act of clumsily reaching into the wallet, turning it over and over.


This is why I insisted on a size that fits cards and bills perfectly—not too spacious.


Third, I wanted the wallet to be able to "introduce itself."


This is also why I explore over ten colors and express them in various ways.


I hope that Ontheblue’s button case becomes something that describes you and your life better than anything else.


From now on, Ontheblue’s cases will continue to be a paragraph in an ongoing story.
